Topshop and Zara Haul

Hey everyone, I thought I'd do a small haul post, to show you a few things I have bought over the past couple of weeks.

Every trip to town, results in wondrous walk around Topshop, gazing at all the beautiful clothes, wishing I had the money to purchase them all - and the wardrobe space! There were a few items which really caught my eye, but it took a third trip to pluck up the courage to actually buy them. I was  unsure whether I would be able to pull them off, or if I actually had other clothes to go with them.

After looking at Ashlie Small's blog, seeing her wearing a beautiful stripe cropped top, I decided to get one for myself. It has a flattering fit, and looks lovely with jeans, shorts and skirts. ( I had to try it on with all these items, to prove to myself that it could go with everything!)
After picking up the top, I noticed a VERY bright skirt in the corner of my eye. Now I normally would never go for something so 'out of there', but I thought hey why not? I also bought a necklace to use up my voucher.

My family and I had been invited to a wedding, and I hadn't got anything to wear, as most of my dresses are for going out in - not really appropriate for formal occasions.
I had been scouring the internet, and came across this picture of a girl wearing a yellow dress. I liked the look and fit of the dress, as it was plain but looked sophisticated. I finally found it on the Zara website, so I went into town with my mum who was lovely enough to agree to buy it for me.

Whilst we were in there, I found the most beautiful bag I have ever lay my eyes on (the one shown above). I thought it was going to be alot pricier than what it actually was. This bag is now my pride and joy and will accompany me everywhere!

Here is a small snap of my outfit for the wedding.

OOTW

OUTFITS OF THE WEEKEND

SATURDAY

One of my friends had a fancy dress party - the theme being sport. Now at first I thought it would be really difficult trying to find an outfit, until I realised how much sports attire and equipment I had around the house. In my personal opinion, if you're going to do fancy dress, you should definitely make an effort! I wasn't going to throw on an old football tee with jeans and state I was a football player. So I decided to go as a baseball player.

Obviously I didn't have an actual kit, and didn't want to buy anything new. So I decided to improvise with the clothing I had.
Here is what I came up with.

Vintage baseball jacket
Levis shorts
H&M plain white tee
American Apparel socks
Black Converse

SUNDAY

As I was feeling fragile on Sunday,  I went for the comfy option. I went to visit my dad and my little brother and sister. It was lovely to see them, and it certainly eased the hangover haha!
Vintage jumper
H&M shirt
Topshop jeans

STORM FREERUN TEE

I thought I'd share with you a new tee that I have been wanting to get for quite sometime.
One night last week, when I couldn't get to sleep at 3 in the morning, I was browsing through the Storm Freerun website, looking through their clothes and to my surprise, the one I wanted was in the sale. So I thought 'what are the chances?' and bought it.

There is my little story for ya.

Tee - Storm Blaze Tee
Acid Jeans - Topshop
Chain - GOGO Phillip
Watch - Swatch

Now for those of you who don't know. This tee that I am wearing is from 'Storm Freerun' which is a London based, parkour/free-running group who are extremely talented. They branched out into apparel 'designed by freerunners for freerunners'.

Now I'm not a free-runner myself but I love what this group do, and the designs of their range. It is definitely the most comfiest top I own, which makes me want to purchase more.
You can check out more on their Lookbook, and here is the link to my Storm Blaze Tee.

I wanted to include videos of them in action, so you can understand what they do.

OOTD - First Fashion Related Post

So tonight I went out for dinner with my two best friends. We went for Tapas which was delicious, but everything we ordered consisted of some form of garlic topping. Probably a bad move if you were planning on going out after. Lucky for me, I came straight home, kicked my heels off and am currently sitting in front of the TV attempting to keep warm. MAD NIGHT FOR SOPHIE AY?

We all decided we would dress up and wear heels, because c'mon what girl doesn't love doing that? So I thought this would be a good opportunity to create my first fashion related post.

Here's my outfit that I wore.

Blazer - Urban Outfitters Sale
Black Leotard - H&M
Necklace - Topshop
Black JONI Jeans - Topshop
Watch - Swatch
Studded Handbag - Stradivarius

And here is my makeup for the evening.
